QOH Change / Rule Update

Hello members,

First of all - thank you to everyone who is working hard to keep our Queen of Hearts drawings running smoothly. A special shoutout to all numerous volunteers who donate their time every Monday, and other nights - we could not do this without you.

I want to announce a temporary change to the Queen of Hearts consolation prizes while our jackpot remains high.

The first winner drawn will receive a consolation prize of $500 if present, and if the card drawn is NOT the Queen of Hearts. If the winner is not present, they will receive the standard $50 prize.

The rules regarding the jackpot remain the same:
If the card selected is the Queen of Hearts, the winner will received 80% if present, and 50% if the winner is not present.

The second rule change will apply to all drawing nights moving forward, until further notice:

There will no more "reserved" seating - All seats are first come, first served. The exception this rule is only for tables reserved for operation of the drawing including but not limited to: The main ticket table, the lottery basket table, the bingo table, the pull tab table, the Gazebo raffle ticket table.

Furthermore, the set up of additional tables on the dance floor in the dining room is no longer permitted unless set up by a Trustee. The basement has been opened on Mondays to accommodate additional capacity.

Any members found violating either of these rules will be subject to suspension from the club. We appreciate everyone's cooperation while we navigate the unique climate in the club on Monday nights. We are actively exploring solutions to allow our loyal and regular members to be able to reserve seating in the future.
